The Nutrition Research Information Network (NUTRINET) celebrated its 30th anniversary on July 31, 2017 at the Century Park Hotel, P. Ocampo, Malate, Manila with the theme: “Serving the Information Needs of Every Juan and Juana”. The event was attended by heads and representatives of member-agencies, former Governing Board and Technical Committee members, colleagues and friends.

 

 

The Nutrition Research Information Network (NUTRINET) is composed of 17 member-institutions whose libraries and information centers have linked up to form a specialized information system in food and nutrition. 

As part of Department of Science and Technology-Food and Nutrition Research Institute's (DOST-FNRI) celebration of 2016 National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) on July 25-29, 2016, NUTRINET celebrated its 29th Anniversary on July 27, 2016 dubbed as NUTRINET Day. During the NUTRINET Day, 11 NUTRINET Technical Committee (TecCom) members participated in the DOST-FNRI's Facilities Tour.

 

The Nutrition Research Information Network (NUTRINET) recently conducted the Seminar on Marketing Library Services.

The seminar was co-sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology-Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI), University of Perpetual Help System Laguna-College of International Hospitality Management and Nutrition & Dietetics (UPHSL-CIHMND), and University of Perpetual Help-Dr. Jose G. Tamayo Medical University-College of Medicine (UPH-DJGTMU-CM). It was held on April 24, 2017 at the UPHSL Main Library, Sto. Niño, Biñan City, Laguna. The seminar aimed to tap information technology as platform in marketing library services.
